Privacy-first exploration
CADPATH is designed to let students explore educational pathways without creating an account. Province choices, interests, saved-program selections, checklist progress and budget entries are held in temporary page memory rather than saved to browser local storage. They are not intentionally uploaded to a CADPATH student-profile database. They are cleared when the page is reloaded or the tab is closed.
Downloads are your choice
If you choose to download program results, a checklist or a budget estimate, the file is generated for your device. You decide whether to keep, share or delete it. Downloads may be recorded by your browser or device under its own settings.
Hosting and technical information
Although CADPATH does not intentionally save student exploration answers, website hosting, network infrastructure and third-party services may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and security logs. CADPATH uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting and Supabase to retrieve program information. Their processing and retention practices must be confirmed before a claim of zero data collection can be made.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
CADPATH does not intentionally use browser local storage to persist student selections. The current website should be checked for any cookies or analytics introduced through hosting settings, third-party scripts or future integrations. This policy must be updated before adding analytics, accounts, marketing trackers or student profiles.
Children and students
CADPATH is intended to be usable without requiring students to submit their names, contact details or school information. Do not enter sensitive personal information into any free-text fields. If student accounts or other personal-data features are introduced, additional notices and safeguards will be required.
External websites
When you follow a link to a university, college or other website, that website may collect information under its own privacy policy. CADPATH does not control those practices.
Questions and changes
For privacy questions, use the Contact page. This notice should be reviewed whenever CADPATH changes its hosting, analytics, account features or data handling.
